What's your ideal tone ? Amps? Gear?

Postby Ryan_Stranger on Mon Nov 19, 2007 9:59 pm

Name a few bands/albums/songs of artists who's tone you admire
whether it be guitars, drums, bass, vocals, pedals, whatever.
cite examples as specific as possible

Also, if you could have any amp/guitar/pedal/drum set/whatever, what would it be?

I'm recording guitar tracks this coming week and the next, and I'm trying to get more ideas of what sound would come out well on the recording. feel free to suggest ideas!

The best guitar tones I have heard are when the guitar is run through both a bass amp and guitar amp.

BALLS!

I thoroughly enjoy plugging my boner into Carl's bhole, the amplification of his yelp in between each thrust is by far the most toneful thing I've heard in my life.

It's obvious that the best damned geetar tone is from pluggin' yo shit into a toastur oven, then bi-ampin' that through that thur blender (usin' it as a kinda wah pedal of sorts), and finally endin' up in the mouth of a 13 year old girl. She screams real good, 'specially when you put onna her hands in tha blender, and tha otha in the toastur oven!
I'm better than you at everything...yes, even macrame.
