hey hey hey. this is what's goin' on with loom in a suuust shell.
we're writing. we're about 5 songs into it. we want to have ten. we're scheduled to record with kris crummett in portland april of 2008. hell yeah, hell yeah. we're not sure how we're going to release it just yet, whether it be on exigent, another label or we do it ourselves. our new material is different than what we've written before, each song kind of goes out on it's own branch. we'll try to keep it pretty loomy though too, for you kids that like what we've written.
nextly, our split with prize country. it's going to be on a 10" vinyl record including two songs from us and two from Prize. it'll also come with a cd of the songs. the artwork is reDAMNdiculously amazing. Paden Bischoff (my little bro) did the artwork. we're pressing 500 records and once they're gone, they're gone. the songs will always be available on cd or by download, but the vinyl will be all we ever print. rock and roll.
other than that, we really need the support of our fans right now as this is a transitional period for us going from being a fun-loving local band, to a band that is really making it and supporting ourselves. loom loves you.
